Terms and conditions.

This agreement between yourself (hereinafter referred to as "Client" and Frankie Howard acting as agent for Animist (hereinafter referred to as "Trainer" pertains to the following:

The client agrees to the prices advertised on our training services page for the information outlined in the description of the service. These services are listed as Platinum, Gold, Silver, Top-up, or online lessons.

This payment should be made in full by booking through our website - any third-party finance options (Klarna etc.) will have their own terms and conditions for payment and the trainer and Animist take no responsibility for their services rendered.

Additional payment plans may be arranged at the trainer and client's discretion and can be discussed by filling in the contact form at the bottom of this page.

Booking time slots:

Once your payment has been received your trainer will be in touch via phone or email to book you in for your first lesson - we will endeavor to see you as soon as possible however there may be a waiting list and our schedules may not always align with each other. We will however try and be as flexible as possible to arrange your session at a time that suits you. Once your initial lesson has been confirmed and booked the additional lessons within your package can be discussed during lessons or with the trainer to fit a time that suits you and to optimise the learning outcomes of your dog.

Cancellations:

If the client fails to attend the session on the agreed date and time without reasonable fair notice then the trainer is not required to reschedule and a refund will not be issued.

If the client needs to rearrange their session they must give at least 72 hours notice prior notice to the trainer.

If the trainer is not able to attend the session they must inform the client at minimum 24 hours before the session is due to take place.

Disclaimers:

The client agreed to inform the trainer of any previous bites from their dog both to humans and to animals to ensure the safety of all those involved.

The client agrees that if their dog poses a bite risk they will take the appropriate steps to minimise the risk. Including if appropriate the use of a muzzle. Leads and any other walking equipment should be fitted securely to the dog.

The initial lesson is to determine your dog's suitability for different training techniques and determine the cause of the issue. During the initial lesson hereinafter referred to as "consultation", the trainer will ask a lot of questions about your and your dog's lifestyle - the client will be fully transparent and honest with the trainer.

During the consultation, the trainer will help the owner determine the cause of the problem and what steps can be taken to resolve the issue.

During the consultation, there is no guarantee of hands-on training from the trainer. This is not often the cause but sometimes the time is best spent observing and guiding the client work their dog in order to determine the best course of action.

The further lessons outlined in your package will be a balanced approach with both the trainer handling the dog and the owner to ensure long-term success.

Your trainer is professional and experienced in reducing risk and mitigating any potential damage from your dog. However should damage occur to other dogs, private or public property, or should injury be caused by your dog to anyone then Animist and the trainer are absolved of this responsibility and the client assumes all liability.

Your trainer guarantees professional training and advice but cannot guarantee results. Results will very much be dependent on the ‘homework’ you put in outside of your training sessions.

The client agrees to follow the training, management, and safety advice laid out by the trainer.

The client agrees to inform the trainer if they start trying different methods or seek the advice of other trainers as conflicting plans can often hinder the dog’s rehabilitation process.

The client consents to any consultation or training sessions being recorded or photos being taken of the client, the dog and the trainer. Animist will own the rights to this media and reserve the right to use them on social media marketing and in educational videos to help other clients.

The client accepts that any nutritional or medical advise is merely based on years of experience and should be verified with your dogs nutritionist or veterinary practice.
