So you're probably thinking...
If you've booked in a call with me your dog is probably more than "a little naughty".

You’ve likely already tried advice from friends, videos, classes, or even another trainer — and things still feel stressful, unpredictable, or even unsafe.

Before our call, most people have the same worries.
So instead of you wondering, I’ll answer them honestly.
1
My dog is worse than the dogs you normally see
Good.
Those are actually the dogs I specialise in.

Before working privately, I spent years as Head of Behaviour within rescue environments, managing and rehabilitating dogs that had already been given up on — dogs who couldn’t be handled safely, couldn’t live in homes, or were considered out of options.

Severe reactivity, bite histories, kennel breakdown, dogs that couldn’t have visitors, dogs who couldn’t leave the house — this was my normal caseload.
2
I've already tried other trainers before.
Honestly, most of my clients have.
The dog training industry is unregulated, and that means anyone can call themselves a dog trainer and charge you for their time.

Severe behaviour problems require more than standard dog training. That's why this is a behaviour consultation first, not a simple class booking.
3
What happens on the call
This call isn't a sales pitch.
It's a chance for me to learn about your dog, what you're struggling with. See if we're actually a good fit for each other and talk you through realistic expectations.
I only take on ten new clients a month, so I want to make sure i'm working with owners who are dedicated to their dogs.
4
Do I actually have time to train my dog?
You won’t be living in a training bubble. We build around your week with short, focused reps that fit into normal life: 10–15 minutes broken up, plus tiny “on‑the‑go” habits during walks and mealtimes. Most families manage 2–4 hours across the whole week. The goal is fewer chaotic moments, calmer routines, and structure that saves you time, not adds to the overwhelm.

5
I don't know if I can afford proper dog training.
Totally fair to be mindful. The cost of not solving this is usually higher: constant stress, damaged property, limited walks, and the risk of escalation. You’re investing to get your life back with your dog. We can spread payments, and I’ll show you exactly what changes in the first 2–4 weeks so you can feel the return quickly. If this isn’t the right time financially, no pressure. But if the problem is already affecting daily life, waiting rarely makes it cheaper or easier.
6
My partner can't make the call so I'll explain it to them later.
I get it. The fastest results happen when everyone hears the plan first‑hand so we avoid Chinese‑whispers and mixed messages. If your partner helps with the dog or will have a say in the decision, bring them. If they can’t make it, we’ll find a time that suits you both. It keeps things simple and gets you wins sooner.
7.
Can we just book in for one session to see how it goes?
I don’t offer one‑offs for behaviour cases because they create false confidence without the follow‑through that changes the dog for good. The six‑session plan is designed to take you from firefighting to predictable progress, with WhatsApp support in between. If you’re after a taster, book the consult and we’ll map your first two weeks so you know exactly what you’d be doing before you commit.
8.
What if it doesn't work?
No ethical trainer can promise perfection, but we can promise a clear plan, honest metrics, and relentless support. If you follow the plan we set and use the WhatsApp coaching, you will see change. If something stalls, we adjust quickly. The only times it “doesn’t work” are when practice stops or the plan isn’t followed. I’ll make it as simple and doable as possible so you can keep moving forward.
9
What happens when we've finished our sessions?
You’ll have a routine you can sustain, clear criteria for when to progress, and three months of follow‑up to make sure you don’t slide back. If you want extra help beyond that, we can add maintenance check‑ins, but most families feel confident running the plan on their own.
10
Can we start without committing today?
Offcourse! The consult call is to confirm we're a good fit and map out your path. If we both agree it's right, you can secure your spot with a deposit and take advantage of a payment plan. If it's not a good fit I'll point you towards alternatives that make sense.
My goal is the right solution for your dog, not a hard sell.

On a personal level; I do absolutely hate admin and chasing people up. So if you sign up during the call i'll throw you a 10% discount. To say thank you for keeping me away from office admin and out in the field with dogs!
one last thing before your call -
This call is done via zoom, you'll have been sent an email with a link for the zoom meeting. This sometimes goes into peoples spam folders so make sure you're checking there.
I've limited spots for these free consults so if you miss your call you'll have to wait for the next availibility.
